Description
I have owned this sweet ride for 30 1/2 years and it has been garage kept every day. I t has never seen snow and if I could help it rain has only touched it a few times.I used to use it as a street cruiser for the first 25 years and I decided to turn it into a drag car in 2001 After much work and money it was back halfed in 2002 by Steve Roth Race Cars,it features custom paint and airbrushing I did not scrimp on any parts used. The engine is built by NHRA pro stock racer Steve Schmidt. I completed the car in 2004 and raced it exclusively at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. The best ET in 1/4 mile 9.79 @ 135 mph. I had the engine refreshed in 2007 by Tom Vosnik Race Engines I haven't had much time to run the car since so the amount of runs on fresh engine is very low. This car is very solid and leaves the line very straight. I have all time slips, dyno sheets and invoices. This car is so smoking hot you just have to see it!
History
From 1978 thru 2001 this car was used as a weekend cruiser only not an everyday ride. I sent it out to be tubbed in 2002 by Steve Roth Race Cars and put a Steve Schmidt 509BBC 780HP engine in. I never went the cheap rout with any parts on the ride. I started racing the car in 2004 and after a few seasons had the engine refreshed by Tom Vosnik Race Engines after which I only race several times so the engine is still pretty fresh.
