Description

1937 Chevrolet pro mod drag car. Fiberglass body, lift off one piece nose (dzus fasteners), removable doors, on a custom S & W racecar tube chassis with swingarm rear suspension. Car has 115" wheelbase, narrowed 9 1/2" sheet metal rear end (modeled after ford), and is certified for 6.00 runs. Car also has onboard Halon fire suppression system, hand controlled brake, and dual chutes. Engine is a 525 CI Alan Johnson, blown alcohol injected piece, currently set up at 2000+ HP. The injection was set up by Bob Newberry of Bob Newberry blown alcohol funny car racing. Car has a 3 speed lenco tranny with a CO2 air controlled shifter, and has run a shakedown run best of 7.0 @197MPH. (can and will go quicker @ well over 200 mph). Car comes with 26' x 102" wide roadmaster enclosed trailer with 7000lb axles, on board generator/winch/batt charger, plenty of storage for fuel/tools ect, and a stainless steel table. Car comes with another Alan Johnson new in box block/rotating assembly, and most parts to build second engine. Must sell due to illness (reason why nothing past shakedown runs have been performed with car). Operation is complete, turn key, ready to run. May be willing to seperate, but would prefer package deal. Thanks for looking...
