Description
This Falcon is very special to me, but I need to buy another truck for my bussiness. I built this car in 1999, sold it to a guy from San Angelo, TX. in mid 2000 and he had INS problems and was deported from USA. His brother had the car in his garage for the past 6 years without ever driving it. I purchased the car back, changed the carb., installed new spark plugs, and changed the oil and filter. The car starts up on first turn, lots of compression, motor is brand new. The motor: 70s 351w bored 30 over. TRW flat top pistons forged. Dart iron heads. Comp cam 304HR camshaft w/ matching valve springs, pushrods and lifters. Single plane torker intake w/750 cfm edelbrock carb. Mallory comp9000 distributor. Mallory VI-A capacitive discharge. Mallory coil. Mallory fuel pump and filter in trunk. Griffin aluminum racing radiator w/electric fan. Headers w/ 2 1/2 exhaust system H-pipe. Nitrous oxide system. Transmission is a New GER full race, reverse pattern with 8" 4000 stall converter. Rear end is a 9" ford w/ 3.73 gears and spool w/ leaf springs and traction bars. Paint is really good looking, but was a quick paint job back in 1999 for a speed shops TV commercial. Under the trunk and firewall are original red. Interior is Brand New reupholstery. Leather/cloth seats, plus roof, dash, door panels, and carpets also done. Interior looks super good! Mallory gauges, B&M shifter. The pics show a B&M star shifter, but since I changed trans to manual valve body, I just purchased a B&M quarter stick. 6 pt. roll bar. Chassis has frame connector. Has safety loop for driveshaft. Wheels are Weld racing and I'm going to install brand new front tires and Brand new drag radials on rear. Performance: I plan on taking it to the track as soon as the tires arrive. It was built with mid- 6 seconds w/ nitrous in the 1/8 mile in mind. I need CASH, I will accept serious offers. I am willing to trade for cheaper race car plus CASH.
