This is a proven racecar that has had multiple track championships. It is a Multiple Division 5 Qualifier and Race Of Champions Winner in 2001 at Topeka, KS. It runs in the high 11's to low 12's in the quarter mile at Bandimere Speedway, elevation 5800 ft. Speed thru the traps at 116 mph on average. Shark Attack's power plant is a 355cu in small block Chevy engine w/450hp, with a full roller valve train, high-rise dual plane intake manifold, electric fuel pump, cool can, high CFM Flowing Holley Carburetor w/vacuum secondaries,and a MSD 6AL ignition. Transmission is a 700R4 automatic with a B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter and a custom torque converter. With the Line Lock, you are able to warm the tires nicely prior to staging. The independent rear suspension is set up with 4.27:1 rear-end ratio gears w/positraction, with adjustable drag shock absorbers. The car comes with 3 Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks 28x10.5x15" rears and 3 Mickey Thompson ET drag Fronts 26x4.5x15". These are mounted on Weld Pro Star wheels. With the 6-point roll bar, and 5-point seatbelt harness it is legal to 10.99. The five gallon fuel cell conserves weight and Shark Attack loves "Purple" 110 octane leaded fuel. The 13.5:1 compression small block thrives on it. For the drivers comfort the power drivers seat, power windows, power locks are all still functional. The removable glass roof panels also add the feeling of openness in the cockpit. This is not a "bottle baby", and has no electronics, it's only you, your feet, and a quick reaction time.
