History
The original chassis was constructed in 1970 to run in the Injected Gas Dragster classes. The chassis was purchased from a private owner in Apache Junction Ariz. in 1996. The car was reconstructed and the chassis updated for current NHRA rules. All drive train and suspension components were new as of the final restoration in 1997. The car began competition in 1997 and has remained active in competition on a monthly bassis since. The Drgaster competes in Nostalgia & NHRA Bracket Racing and has achieved a best ET of 9.23 @ 148 mph in the 1/4 mile.
