The Car is a 235-inch hardtail dragster that is in excellent condition. Car is NHRA Certified PRO 2.4A 2.5 serial number 002026. All components that are required to be SFI approved are up to date. The motor is a 565 cubic inch Chevrolet that has just received new rings, bearings, competition valve job, and additional headwork. The motor has 9 passes since the rebuild. Other pieces have been reconditioned for this sale as well. A new BG-400 fuel pump, Torque Converter was reconditioned by the manufacturer, and the MSD 7AL2 ignition box has been reconditioned by MSD. None of the reconditioned parts have been in competition.
I purchased this car brand new from David Beckley RaceCars 9/01. I have spared no expense on this car and all the pieces are name brand items. In 2002 at the AC Delco nationals in Las Vegas the car was a Semifinalist and has been four to five rounds at numerous events. This car has a best ET and speed of 7.72 @ 173 at the Sonoma Nationals 2003. In Super Comp trim the car runs consistently in the 170's on the 8.90 index. After 30 years of racing boats and cars I have decided to retire and have parked the car to sell.
