want to get some other opinions. the aluminum bbc block has 1/2 inch head bolt holes. regular block and bow tie block has 7/16. so i decided that i wanted the larger so i got a milodon dril and tap index and a dril and tap and went to work, it wasnt that hard and all turned out straight. the studs were outragesly priced from arp and the whole jod cost me about 400.00 to do, so now the question. did i overdo the whole deal. i just started to think about blowing head gaskets. and didnt want any problems. motor is blown injected and my first go around with a blower. how much boost will 7/16 studs hold the head down as aposed to the 1/2 inch. no wonder people go to the anderson or kieth black hemi. they are just set up for more power. thanks, didn't mean to go so long.
