Is there any good horsepower increase in cams with the 4/7 firing order swap, let's say on a 355" or 383" SBC? If there is an increase is it mostly at the top end of the RPM range, or what? New solid roller 4/7 swap cams cost about $350 and that's a lot of money unless you're going to see a very definite gain. I've heard it solves problems in circle track engines where 5 and 7 can get extra hot, but I'm not worried about that with my drag car. Thanks.
