Once apon a time one of Dart's "Trick of the week" was running an oval port intake on square port heads but I've never heard of anyone doing it the other way around. It will run OK, and if it's in a bracket car and you're not shooting for maximum power output, what can it hurt? Go ahead and try it. If it works fine. If not, chalk it up to R&D. Who knows? You might be the winner in this week's "Trick of the week" contest. Who ever though that running a 4500 carb on a 4150 intake with an adapter would work either.
