What are the torque specs for ARP main studs on a 4-bolt main small block Chevy, I assume it would be the same for a 350 or a 400 block. Somebody told me 90 ft.lb. but that seems like a lot. I got a 400 block from a guy and it was already studded and he must have put loctite on the studs because I tried to back one out and it's STUCK. The main bores are definitely undersize so I have to have the main bores honed to get them up to spec. Also what are the specs for ARP head studs for a SBC -- any difference between the long and short studs or are they all the same? Thanks.
